United Ways of Texas is planning to offer a scholarship opportunity to attend the 2026 Texas United Conference. We will have final confirmation by early November and will ensure local United Ways are notified. We are hopeful this scholarship encourages attendance, and United Ways can send more staff than planned, including registering staff of all various roles within a UW organization. Priority will be given to United Ways that serve communities with an ALICE population of 30% or more, and there will be a focus on ensuring all size United Ways, rural communities and geographies are represented at the conference.
Current United Way staff are eligible to apply for this conference scholarship, and we ask that only one application is submitted per United Way. Multiple submissions will not be considered. Scholarship funds will be distributed directly to the United Way after the conference, once attendance is confirmed. The deadline to apply for this opportunity is February 13, 2026.
